We do not produce our own content, we specialise in servicing international feature films, television series, limited series, and commercials for visiting producers and production companies. What We Deliver
Location Scouting and Permits
We manage the full location process, from initial research and recces through permit applications, government liaison, and location agreements. Our database covers Mauritius, Seychelles, Madagascar, Réunion, and the Maldives, including restricted-access sites, private estates, marine reserves, and aerial corridors.
Crew and Talent
Mauritius has a growing pool of internationally trained, bilingual (English/French) crew across all departments. We recruit, vet, and manage local crew and handle work permits for any international hires. Our casting database includes actors, models, and extras across all demographics.
Equipment: Mediavision (ARRI Certified)
Through Mediavision, our ARRI-certified rental house, we supply camera, grip, lighting, and support equipment to international broadcast and cinema standards. This means visiting productions can travel lighter and reduce freight costs significantly.
Marine Filming and Drone Services
Mauritius is surrounded by sheltered lagoons and open ocean, making it one of the strongest marine filming destinations in the Indian Ocean. We provide safety boats, underwater camera operators, marine coordinators, and licensed drone teams for aerial work over land and sea.
Production Logistics
We manage accommodation, transport, catering, unit bases, security, and all ground logistics. Our team handles customs clearance for equipment, carnet processing, and internal island transfers.
EDB Rebate Management
We manage the full rebate process, from initial EDB application and QPE structuring through production monitoring, audit preparation, and final claim submission. Our track record with the EDB means fewer delays and faster approvals.
Post-Production and VFX: Sophoria Studios
For post-production, 3D, and visual effects, we partner exclusively with Sophoria Studios, led by Jonathan Symmonds, a VFX supervisor with over 20 years of experience and three VES Award nominations. Jonathan has contributed to productions including Avatar, Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, and Carnival Row. Feature Films and Limited Series

Limited series have become the dominant format for prestige scripted television, attracting A-list talent and directors who prefer contained production schedules. For a 4-8 episode limited series, Mauritius offers everything a location-driven production needs: concentrated natural variety, experienced crew, full equipment availability through Mediavision, and a 30-40% cash rebate that significantly improves production economics.
High-end drama productions, both features and limited series, can access the 40% rebate tier when minimum local spend thresholds are met: USD $1M for features and $150K per episode for television drama.
TV Series and TV Movies
Whether your production is a multi-season drama, a one-off TV movie, or a scripted format for a streaming platform, we provide the same standard of service as for feature films. We are your production partner on the ground in Mauritius. Mauritius’s bilingual crew base, modern infrastructure, and proximity to multiple time zones make it a practical base for television production on any scale.

Mauritius Film Rebate: 30% to 40% Cash Back
The Mauritius Economic Development Board (EDB) offers a direct cash rebate of 30-40% on Qualifying Production Expenditure (QPE). This is a genuine cash-back incentive, not a tax credit, paid directly to the production company after an independent audit.
High-end productions can access the 40% tier when minimum local spend thresholds are met: USD $1M for features, $150K per episode for television drama. Commercials, documentaries, and post-production work are also eligible at the 30% tier, depending on category and spend level.
Eligible costs include local crew and cast, equipment hire, accommodation, transport, locations and permits, catering, and post-production services.
