In 2022, British Airways Holidays launched a witty and stylish commercial campaign featuring three spots, Lobster, Phone Call, and Yoga. Directed by internationally acclaimed filmmaker Tim Godsall, known for his dialogue-driven comedy in campaigns for Old Spice, Axe, FedEx, ESPN, and Xbox, the project brought humor and sophistication together against the idyllic backdrops of Mauritius. Each film delivered a playful reminder that a holiday with British Airways is about indulgence, relaxation, and letting go of everyday stress.
Service Production in Mauritius
Identical Media acted as the service production partner in Mauritius, handling all aspects of the local shoot:
- Location scouting & permits across premium hotels, resort pools, tropical gardens, and pristine beaches.
- Film equipment rental through Mediavision, Mauritius’ top rental company supplying ARRI Alexa LF systems, RED cameras, grip, and lighting gear, capable of supporting up to four Netflix feature films simultaneously.
- Aerial drone filming for sweeping coastal shots and high-angle lifestyle scenes.
- Production logistics including unit management, crew support, catering, accommodation, and transport for cast and crew.
