Led by Alex Joseph
Our sound department is led by Alex Joseph, a veteran Sound Effects Supervisor and MPSE Golden Reel Award winner with credits including Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Harry Potter, Troy, Mamma Mia!, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Kingdom of Heaven. After relocating to Mauritius, Alex established a complete audio post-production pipeline, training local sound professionals while continuing to deliver for international platforms including Netflix, HBO, and the BBC.
As co-founder of Creativity Media in the UK, Alex has been at the forefront of sound innovation for over two decades. Through Identical Media, he brings that same level of precision and creative storytelling to every production we service.
Creative Sound Design

We deliver spec-compliant mixes for every platform and distribution format. Our mixing services cover stereo, 5.1 surround, and Dolby Atmos-ready formats, with the Atmos studio currently in development. All deliverables are prepared to meet the technical standards required by Netflix, HBO, BBC, AS-11, and theatrical releases. Audio Mastering and Multi-Version Exports

Mauritius Film Rebate on Sound and Mixing
Sound and mixing services qualify for their own rebate application under the Mauritius Film Rebate Scheme. Post-production, including sound design, mixing, and audio post, is handled as a separate department by the Economic Development Board (EDB). The rebate percentage matches the main production’s rate: up to 40% for feature films, TV series, and TV movies, or 30% for TV commercials. Identical Media manages all rebate applications, audits, and claims on behalf of visiting productions.
This makes Mauritius an attractive destination for audio post-production, international producers benefit from an additional rebate specifically on their sound and mixing spend, on top of the rebate they receive on the main production.
