Gunsmoke Production France, “Babette de Rozières” – French Cooking Show
French gastronomy is known to be among the finest in the world and one of the leading women in this sphere is the phenomenal Babette de Rozières. Babette has been in the culinary industry since 1978 and has started from the bottom, while always passionate and driven. She climbed the ladder one step at a time, specializing in Creole cuisine, and her journey to stardom is really one of a kind. She has owned more than 10 restaurants throughout her life: most of them in France but some in Dubai, Morocco and even in Las Vegas. One of her most original concepts is that of having only two tables in her restaurant based in Paris.
Babette has worked in luxury hotels, has founded the overseas Gastronomy fair in 2015, has written many books and has won various prizes such as the silver medal of Tourism in France, the 2005 World Cook Awards and the Gourmand Awards, inter alia. Air France solicited Babette’s talents on board in 2018, like many other times before, and she answered positively again. This year, all flights from Martinique, Guadeloupe and Guyane to Paris, during specific time periods, have an exclusive menu concocted by Babette.
Our Chef hosts many cooking shows and is seen regularly on broadcast TV channels such as France 5, France O and My Cuisine. The latter collaborated with Gunsmoke Productions and, two weeks ago, Babette was in Mauritius with the Identical Pictures team to shoot her cooking show for a week. We shot her recipes at the Ravenala Attitude Hotel, got fresh fish from local fishermen and found ingredients at the Port-Louis market. Stay tuned for Babette’s cooking show, straight from Mauritius, on My Cuisine soon.
